她是一名高中生，对自然感兴趣。She is a high-school student with an interest in nature.

但她不太喜欢出远门。比起要坐很久车才能抵达的山野和保护区，她更愿意观察身边的自然——小区的绿化带、上学路上的行道树，还有莘城中央公园里的这些花草和鸟。But she doesn’t much like travelling far. Rather than mountains and nature reserves that take a long ride to reach, she prefers to watch the nature around her — the green strips in her neighbourhood, the street trees on the way to school, and the flowers, plants and birds here in Xincheng Central Park.

在她看来，自然并不都在远处。一只在草地上小跑几步、又忽然停住侧头的乌鸫，一朵早上还是白色、到傍晚已经变红的木芙蓉，都发生在每天经过的地方，只是很少有人停下来看。As she sees it, nature isn’t all far away. A blackbird that runs a few steps across the lawn and then suddenly stops to tilt its head, a cotton rose that is white in the morning and red by evening — these happen in places we pass every day, yet few people stop to look.

于是她做了这个网站：把公园里能遇见的植物和鸟一一记下来，配上照片和一句话介绍，再做成可以点着玩的辨认游戏。她希望住在周边的人——尤其是每天从这里走过的人——能因此更加注意到他们日常生活里的自然。So she made this website: recording the plants and birds you can meet in the park one by one, with a photo and a one-line description, and turning them into a game you can tap through. She hopes that people living nearby — especially those who walk through here every day — will notice the nature in their everyday lives a little more.
